About the role

As a Guest Services Agent at the prestigious Verandah House Country Estate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the satisfaction of our discerning guests. Joining our team in this full-time position, you will be responsible for assisting guests with all their needs throughout their stay, from check-in to check-out and everything in between. Based on the beautiful Tamborine Mountain in Queensland, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a stunning location and be part of a dynamic hospitality operation.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and checking in/out guests in a warm and friendly manner

Responding to guest enquiries and requests promptly and courteously

Assisting guests with their luggage and escorting them to their rooms

Processing payments and managing guest accounts

Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the guest services area

Liaising with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Promoting and selling the estate's facilities, services and local attractions

Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or guest-facing role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanour

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle guest queries and requests

Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Proficiency in using hotel management or property management software

A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
