Our client is a reputable and well-established construction company, specialising in commercial and residential projects.

They are seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and exceptional organisational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including progress invoicing and resolving queries.

Assist accounts payable in all facets of supplier payments as required.

Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions.

Process payroll and superannuation obligations.

Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook (Microsoft 365)

Liaise with internal and external staff and key management.

Use MYOB to maintain and update financial records.

End-of-month reports.

Requirements:

5+ Years proven experience as a bookkeeper within the construction sector – relevant experience from other disciplines will be considered.

Proficient in both Accounts Payable – Receivable and end-to-end Payroll functions.

A proactive and enthusiastic team player with a warm approachable demeanor.

Proficiency in MYOB accounting software.
