About the role
Kojonup Feeds is seeking an experienced part time Accounts & Administration Officer to join their team on a 12-month contract basis in Kojonup, WA. As the Accounts & Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing essential financial and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the business.
What you'll be doing
Process and code supplier invoices and grain receivals.
Prepare and process weekly payment runs.
Assist with month-end reconciliations.
Preparation and lodgement of grain levies with relevant departments.
Assist with GST & PAYG lodgements supporting compliance with ATO requirements and reporting deadlines.
Assist with processing payroll on a fortnightly basis ensuring accurate data entry for employee hours, deductions, and entitlements.
Assist with customer credit application, including credit history review, limit assessments, and coordination of approval processes.
Facilitate employee onboarding and compliance.
Provide administrative support across the business, including data entry, document filing, and handling general inquiries from staff, customers, and suppliers.
What we're looking for
Proven experience as an Accounts & Administration Officer or a similar role
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
Proficient in using accounting software (MYOB AccountRight preferred) and Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A relevant qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience with payroll is desirable, though not essential.
A flexible and proactive attitude, willing to take on a variety of roles and responsibilities as needed.
Part-time (ranging from 20-30 hrs per week)
