About the role
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Assistant & Governance Officer is responsible for supporting our CEO, Board of Directors, Committees, and Executive Team. Responsibilities will include:
CEO support: High-level executive assistance to the CEO, including stakeholder liaison, calendar management and scheduling of events
Governance support: Managing all administrative matters relating to the Board and Finance & Audit plus Governance & Risk Committees
Board support: Liaising with and supporting Board members to fulfil their Directorial duties
Project support: Efficient and timely delivery of Executive Office projects and activities
Relationship Management: Managing relationships with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication
Support: Operational and administrative support to the Executive team and other areas of the organisation
About you
Your demonstrated experience in supporting an Executive team in a positive, collaborative, and collegiate manner will be key in this role. Essential experience and attributes include:
Relevant work experience with at least 2 years in a similar role
Excellent written skills with prior experience producing documents including taking minutes, drafting reports plus policies and procedures
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Efficient and effective administrative skills with a desire to support all areas of the organisation
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Strong key stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to think innovatively, strategically, and analytically
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
