About the Role
As the Head of Shared Services - APAC, you will oversee the payroll and accounts payable functions across all operating entities in the region. Your mandate is to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant service delivery while driving strategic transformation, harmonisation, and continuous improvement.
You’ll manage legislative requirements, support acquisitions, and act as a key liaison across Finance, HR, and executive leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end payroll operations across APAC, ensuring compliance with taxation, superannuation, and industrial relations
- Manage AP operations including reconciliations, vendor relationships, and payment controls
- Drive shared services transformation, including process standardisation and automation
- Lead ERP/payroll system upgrades and integration projects
- Support post-acquisition integration and onboarding of new entities
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs, ensuring service quality and stakeholder satisfaction
- Build and lead high-performing, regionally dispersed teams
About You
We’re looking for a commercially astute, hands-on leader with deep technical knowledge and a passion for building scalable, people focused operations.
You’ll bring:
- Significant experience managing payroll and finance shared services in a multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional setting
- Deep knowledge of APAC payroll legislation, awards interpretation, and tax compliance
- Strong understanding of accounts payable controls and vendor management
- Proven track record delivering systems upgrades, integrations, and shared services transitions
- Proficiency in ERP and payroll systems (e.g. Chris21, Oracle, MYOB, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capability across geographically diverse teams
