About the Role
As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing this organisation's UK and Australian tax obligations. With a focus on ensuring robust tax governance, managing risks, and driving value-added strategic initiatives, this role requires an exceptional professional to lead tax-related operations across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance ensuring timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with both Australian and UK tax laws.
• Liaise with external advisors and regulatory authorities as required.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation, ensuring proactive adaptation of policies.
• Oversee tax provisioning and reporting in compliance with IFRS standards.

About You

• Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CTA) with a strong academic background in taxation or accounting.
• Extensive experience in UK tax, with complementary expertise in Australian tax laws and practices.
• Proven track record in both tax compliance and strategic tax advisory roles.
• Experience in a large global environment or with large multinational organisations is highly desirable. Big 4 first movers are also encouraged to apply
