The Client

We have a newly created opportunity with one of our leading Broker Clients in Sydney, this role has come about due to growth plans for the approaching new financial year, role to start as soon as possible.

Our CBD Insurance Broker client is a well-known and respected Insurance Brokerage in Australia, providing insurance solutions to their many loyal customers over many years. Over the last 12 months, they've experienced a period of substantial growth due to some business expansion and merger, therefore creating some new opportunities. They're a company with around 100 employees, across 4 locations in Vic, NSW, Brisbane and Gold Coast. Cairns opened a few weeks ago.

The Role

Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Account Executive OR Senior Assistant to take on an existing, solid book of business. The portfolio consists of some larger key clients, but they also very much value their smaller clients who have been with the business since day one. This role would actually suit a seasoned Assistant looking to make that next step, our client is open to talking to people at all levels.

These are long standing clients who need good support and service. This is also a role where you you may wish to step into more a senior role down the track, as the business continues to grow.

The team are professional and high performing. They also like to have some fun and celebrate the wins.

Some other components of this role include:

Management of a portfolio through all stages of the Broking process, with support from the broking team of Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives.

Confidently manage & respond to queries from clients and underwriters – via both phone & email. This may include complex problem-solving.

Develop strong and effective working relationships with strata managers and underwriters to support business retention and growth in accordance with branch goals and objectives.

Highlight and escalate any significant issues of concern affecting service delivery.
