Account Executive/Manager – General Insurance
Sydney CBD | Up to $130,000 + Super | Full Time | Permanent

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a leading insurance brokerage that’s experiencing strong growth across the Sydney region. With a solid presence in the commercial insurance space, this organisation offers a stable platform, great internal support, and the opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio of SME and mid-market clients.

This is a newly created position to support that growth, ideal for an Account Executive or Account Manager ready to take the next step, or someone looking for a fresh environment with a collaborative, high-performing team.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio ($450k) of SME to mid-market clients across a range of industries
• Handle renewals, endorsements, new business quotes and policy administration with the support of a broking assistant
• Develop strong relationships with both clients and insurers to deliver tailored insurance solutions
• Identify new business opportunities within the portfolio and drive organic growth
• Ensure compliance with internal and industry regulations and standards

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years’ experience in an account executive or account management role within general insurance
• Tier 1 (Broking) qualification – essential
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines – SME, property, liability, and motor are key
• Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team
• A proactive and service-driven approach
