Are you a hands-on Site Manager based near Horsham looking to lead a major regional project from the ground up?

MJM Recruit has partnered with a well-established commercial builder with a strong footprint across VIC, NSW, and QLD. We are seeking a capable and experienced Site Manager to oversee Stage 1 of a $3.5M business park project – 10 warehouse units over 7 months – with Stage 2 (15 more units) expected to follow and a further 7-10 months.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day site operations, working closely with the Project Manager based at head office. This role will suit someone confident in leading subcontractors, solving problems on-site, whilst keeping construction moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver the project on time, on budget, and to the required standards
• Supervise site labour and subcontractors
• Maintain OH&S compliance and enforce safety procedures
• Monitor subcontractor progress and workmanship quality
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and resources efficiently
• Troubleshoot construction or design issues with consultants and trades
• Keep an accurate and detailed site diary

What You Bring:
• 3+ years’ experience as a Site Manager on commercial or industrial builds
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of construction standards, OH&S, and quality systems
• A proactive, practical approach with high attention to detail
• Ideally based in or around Horsham – no more long commutes
