Contract manager at a prestigious University campus

At MSS, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and secure environment for our client. Our team is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to oversee and enhance our contractual agreements with security service providers and ensure compliance with university policies and regulations.

About the role

We are hiring a Site-Based Contract Manager for a full-time, permanent position (45 hours per week, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM). This role involves overseeing security service contracts at the Bundoora campus and requires travel to other campuses. A fully funded company car (for work and personal use) and a mobile phone will be provided. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a solid background in contract management within the security sector.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• First line management of Supervisors on all campuses
• Second line management of security officers on all campuses
• Driving KPI performance
• Customer management
• Contractual compliance
• Quality of Service delivery
• Production of monthly and quarterly contract reports
• Invoice review and approval
• Management oversight of recruitment
• Production, review and revision of SOP's
• Compliance audits
• Stakeholder liaison
• Management and response to customer complaints
• Management of staff performance and attendance
• Planning and execution of security contingency exercises
• Development of continuous improvement strategies

Skills & experience

• Past experience in an educational setting is desired.
• Proven experience in team management and operational security
• Sound understanding of contractual environment.
• Victorian Security licence.
• Cert II or higher in security operations
• Working with children's check (or willing to obtain)
• Valid Victorian drivers licence
• First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
