ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Contract Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to hit the ground running. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about construction, confident managing budgets and contract processes, and capable of leading communication between stakeholders to drive outstanding project results.
You’ll be joining a respected team on a diverse portfolio of ongoing projects, with the autonomy to take ownership while working closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to achieve delivery milestones.
This is a site and office-based role, offering a dynamic and hands-on work environment. Office based in East Brunswick.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Source and procure subcontractors and materials
Process subcontractor payment claims and administer variations to clients
Create contractor scopes and let subcontractor contracts, purchase orders, OHS documentation etc
Create and monitor project budgets and reports
Create and submit monthly project progress claims
Liaise and build strong relationships with subcontractors, clients and consultants
REQUIREMENTS:
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management/Building and construction or similar
Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role
Excellent Construction knowledge
Ability to multi task and work simultaneously across multiple projects
Ability to understand contracts and read drawings
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent computer skills and experience with software packages (Procore preferred)
Negotiation, attention to detail and time management skills
