Contract Administrator -
Requirements -
Previous experience in high-end residential construction
Exceptional negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
Good construction knowledge
Strong and effective time management and organisational skills and a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines
Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements and projects simultaneously
An eye for detail and high level of accuracy
A high level of proficiency in Project Management, scheduling and Microsoft Office Suite software
Leadership skills
The ability to deal confidently with Company staff, clients, contractors and suppliers
Conflict resolution skills
Excellent work ethic
Estimating experience will be an advantage
Role & Responsibilities -
Participating in tender process including quantifying and pricing of materials and
contractors
Complete take offs and request quotes
Administration of head contract agreement
Ensuring all project documentation is maintained and issued in accordance with head
contract
Procurement and coordination of labour and supplies in line with head contract and project
schedule
Obtaining and vetting competitive subcontractor quotes and negotiating with suppliers and
contractors
Raising and issuing of purchase orders
Preparation of site folders to a checklist
Management of project folders
Preparation of sub-contractor packages, scopes and procurement schedules
Drafting requests for information, expressions of interest and notice of delays and main
contract and sub-contract variations for each project
Management and processing of project related invoices from contractors and suppliers
Client claim preparation
Project Variation preparation, distribution and management of authorisations
Liaising with the project team through participation in meetings, examining drafts, revising and
filing relevant correspondence
All Project reporting in conjunction with Project Manager including cost schedules, risk and
opportunities, procurement schedules, meeting minutes and financial reviews
Maintenance of current plans and specifications in electronic filing system
Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
Conducting regular project reviews and creating detailed reports for Company Management
Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
