Marketing Officer Role - Unique opportunity to join niche agency operating in Sport and Leisure

An opportunity has become available in our Melbourne Office, for a marketing professional looking to immerse themselves in an all encompassing marketing role. Our Marketing Officer role is ideal for a sports passionate person who can work on multiple tasks at once whilst collaborating with key stakeholders internally and externally. This role will report to the Managing Director and Head of Underwriting and be responsible for the marketing and communication function including event management, sponsorship leveraging, design and development of all marketing collateral, website and social media content and database marketing.

Applicants interested in this role should at a minimum have the following:

- A minimum of three to four years experience in a marketing environment

- Experience in the insurance industry or other regulated environment, whilst not essential, would be an advantage

- Advanced user of MS office, including powerpoint and other applications

- Previous experience in web design, html and use of the supporting software such as Adobe Acrobat, Professional, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, ImageReady, GoLive, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Firefox addon –FireFTP

- Must be able to work flexible hours to meet business requirements including travel interstate, evening functions and occasional weekends
