We are on a lookout for an Assistant Director to join a passionate and tight-knit team in a 66-place centre!

• Full-time, 6-month Fixed-Term position.

• Dynamic role where you get to float between different classrooms, bringing your unique touch to every corner of Goodstart Gunnedah!
• In a floating position you'll be the guiding star in sharing your expertise to elevate team.
• Embrace the flexibility of a rotating roster, where each day brings new adventures and opportunities to shine in different rooms!
• 2 hours off the floor on a weekly basis to dive into admin work, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Gunnedah, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
