We have a fantastic part-time opportunity (3 days per week) for a proactive People & Culture Advisor to join a growing business where you’ll work across two companies. This is a national role where you will look after offices based in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and is perfect for someone who thrives in a SME business setting and wants to make a real impact.

Here you will provide HR support and guidance in a professional yet down-to-earth environment where you will perform a variety of duties from assisting with implementing policies and procedures, as well as the usual HR duties such as onboarding, offboarding, dealing with HR issues, performance management etc. This is a hands-on role so you must enjoy the various admin aspects that come hand in hand with the role.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• End-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes
• Provide HR support and advice to leadership and staff
• Assist with performance management and employee relations matters
• Develop and refine HR policies and procedures (eg Work From Home, Parental Leave, etc)
• Draft HR documentation such as employment contracts and letters
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legislation
• Undertake various HR projects
• Support broader people initiatives as the businesses continue to grow
• Occasional travel to Sydney/Melbourne offices

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Previous HR experience either as a HR Advisor or HR Officer ready to take their next step
• A strong understanding of HR best practice and current employment legislation
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – you're approachable and trustworthy
• A proactive mindset – someone who’s happy to roll up their sleeves and just get things done
• Available 3 days per week - office based in CBD
