Are you an organised and hands-on individual with experience in warehousing and a strong eye for quality? We are a growing food manufacturing business looking for a Warehouse and Quality Supervisor to join our friendly and hardworking team.

This role is crucial to ensuring our warehouse and production processes run smoothly and our products meet high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and well-organised warehouse to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Monitor inventory levels regularly, identify low stock situations and communicate with management to ensure timely reordering.

Receive incoming goods, verify quantities and condition, apply correct labels, and store in warehouse while following HACCP food safety procedures.

Assist production staff by selecting and issuing correct items from warehouse to be used in production.

Assist in preparing completed orders for dispatch by packing products onto pallets, wrapping them securely, and checking them against delivery paperwork.

Loading delivery trucks safely and ensuring outgoing goods are correctly matched to dispatch documentation.

Oversee some production floor activities to ensure staff are working on the right tasks, prioritising production needs, and providing clear instructions for upcoming jobs.

Verify that production staff are using correct packaging, date codes and other requirements to exactly meet product specifications and quality control procedures.

Set up and operate basic machines for production, including troubleshooting and adjustments as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

A forklift licence is essential

Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks like lifting and loading.

Previous experience in a warehouse, food manufacturing or production environment.

Great attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Ability to lead and guide production staff when needed.

Proactive communicator who takes pride in staying organised.
