National Workforce is currently looking for an experienced and dependable Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Operator to join our well-known client's team in Eastern Creek. They are currently seeking a driven Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Operator to join their diverse team and support with day-to-day warehouse operations.
- $66k plus Super
- Monday - Friday shift start times vary between 5am and 8am

The Role…
In this exciting opportunity, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Operating a variety of Material Handling Equipment, including both counterbalance and high reach forklifts, as well as electric pallet jacks.
- Performing core warehouse tasks such as loading/unloading, and bulk and case picking.
- Accurately completing dispatch and receival documentation.
- Effectively utilising warehouse systems and technology, including RF scanners, SAP, and battery charging equipment.
- Adhering to all safety procedures and promoting a safe working environment.
- Carrying out general administrative tasks as required.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records and data entry.
- Participating in toolbox talks, team meetings, and continuous improvement activities.
- Engaging in investigations related to quality, operations, or delivery issues.
- Conducting daily cleaning and maintenance of process areas to meet compliance with GMP and HACCP standards.
- Operating workstations and processes in line with standard operating procedures to achieve maximum safety, quality, and efficiency.
To be successful in this exciting position, you must:
- Posses a valid Forklift Licence.
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience operating both counterbalance and high reach forklifts within a relevant warehouse setting.
- Have a sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Be open to completing other general warehousing tasks alongside operating the Forklift.
