The Role…

In this exciting opportunity, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Operating a variety of Material Handling Equipment, including both counterbalance and high reach forklifts, as well as electric pallet jacks.
• Performing core warehouse tasks such as loading/unloading, and bulk and case picking.
• Accurately completing dispatch and receival documentation.
• Effectively utilising warehouse systems and technology, including RF scanners, SAP, and battery charging equipment.
• Adhering to all safety procedures and promoting a safe working environment.
• Carrying out general administrative tasks as required.
• Maintaining accurate and timely records and data entry.
• Participating in toolbox talks, team meetings, and continuous improvement activities.
• Engaging in investigations related to quality, operations, or delivery issues.
• Conducting daily cleaning and maintenance of process areas to meet compliance with GMP and HACCP standards.
• Operating workstations and processes in line with standard operating procedures to achieve maximum safety, quality, and efficiency.

To be successful in this exciting position, you must:

• Posses a valid Forklift Licence.
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience operating both counterbalance and high reach forklifts within a relevant warehouse setting.
• Have a sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Be open to completing other general warehousing tasks alongside operating the Forklift.
