About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join MCP Oz Pty Ltd as a Building Construction Manager in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Residential & Commerical building construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position that will allow you to utilize your extensive experience in the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects

Manage and coordinate the activities of employees, supervisors, equipment and our contractors

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or risks that arise

Ensure strict compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Provide leadership and mentoring to the construction teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including cost records, progress reports, and quality assurance records

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management or a related field

Western Australian - Licensed Builder Preferable

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Building Construction Manager role, preferably within the commercial or residential construction industry with an understanding of Modular buildings

Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to completion

Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to work collaboratively with our clients' teams

Thorough understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations

Proficient in the use of project management software, such as Microsoft Projects or SimPro
