HTS Constructions Pty Ltd is a project management and construction company specialising in remote works. HTS prides itself on its high standard of work and its culture.

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled project manager to oversee our remote construction projects in WA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects in remote locations and possess excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be a well-rounded project manager with experience in working on a remote site and construction activities. The person will be required to travel to the remote site to manage the works.

Projects range in size however you will be capable of managing up to $2m of works per month.

The responsibilities of the Project Manager include:

Client communications and being the primary point of contract.

Manage budgets including cost forecasting and estimating of variations.

Be able to understand and manage works in accordance with a Contract.

Be able to prepare project documentation and QA packs for upcoming works using company templates.

Be able to reinforce safety standards and work in accordance with WHSEQ Standards

Lead a team of supervisors, advisors and multiple trades to successfully deliver the works.

Identify, measure and mitigate risks to personnel, the schedule, quality of works and the budget.

Plan and ensure resources (labour, materials and equipment) are available to complete the works.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be based in Perth, may have a Building Practitioner background, and previous experience working on mine sites. Experience with modular building construction or commercial construction would be preferred. Ideally, you will have a background in engineering, commercial or construction management.

Your skills and experience will include:

8+ years construction experience and a demonstrated understanding of project sequencing and forecasting

Strong leadership and project management skills, and able reinforce a positive work culture.

A Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.

Have experience and be comfortable working remotely and in a DIDO and/or FIFO capacity - willing to travel as required.

Have experience in performance management and development of employees

Have a good understanding of safety principals, estimating packages of works, and budget management.

Have strong written communications and be highly proficient in MS Office

To be successful in this role, you must complete a Police Check, Pre-employment Medical and drug screen, hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence.
