About the Role
This role manages all aspects of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in relation to Training Product Development, Compliance and Training Support, including the Learning Management System. This is achieved by providing leadership and management to the Training Product Development, Compliance and Learning Management System Teams in addition to strategic advice to the Assistant Commissioner Learning and Development as the Responsible Person for the DFES RTO.
As a key member of the Learning and Development Leadership Team, this position provides direction, support and guidance on all aspects of the professional development of operational and corporate personnel (including volunteers) and supports the implementation of the Department’s Learning and Development Strategy across DFES.
Operating in the uncertain and dynamic environment of emergency services, the qualities of responsiveness, resilience, initiative and a high level of political acumen are required to succeed in this role.
