About the role
This position is responsible for managing the design of client and associated industry required training. The role provides advice and support to training areas in the development of facilitation, learning and assessment strategies and resources to meet the needs of clients and industry. The role also necessitates providing support and advice to clients and industry in order to maintain and improve quality assurance processes and training polices using continuous improvement principles.
The ideal candidate should have experience in designing training using instructional systems design principles. A background in Curriculum Development from the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) is preferred, with expertise in advising on training facilitation, learning, and assessment strategies. Australian Citizenship, eligibility for Defence Security Authority clearance, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or near completion) are required.
