The Organisation
Our client, the Construction Training Fund is a small team responsible for administration of a levy on all building and construction works in Western Australia. The CTF uses this levy to assist the building and construction industry meet its needs for a skilled workforce by funding training and programs for apprentices, trainees and their employers in the building and construction industry.

The Position
The Skills Development Advisor is responsible for managing projects and the development of programs to inform the Building and Construction Industry Training Board. The role supports the objectives of the CTF in the delivery of skills advisory services that meet the contracted outcomes established by the State Training Board and the Department of Training and Workforce Development. We are looking for someone with knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training sector including training product development.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
Strong knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training sector with specific knowledge of State and Federal regulatory and training systems.
Well-developed policy, strategic research, and development skills.
Well-developed ability to prepare and present reports.
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
Well-developed ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Acts professionally at all times and operates within the boundaries of codes governing conduct, legal and policy requirements.
Highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to develop working relationships with industry stakeholders and other relevant agencies to achieve long-term strategic outcomes.
