About the role
Stroud Homes Toowoomba are seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a full-time Contracts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the administrative aspects of our construction projects, ensuring seamless contract management and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our local home building business in Toowoomba, Queensland.
What you'll be doing
Preparing, reviewing, and managing all contractual documentation related to our construction projects
Liaising with local council and certifiers to execute approvals in a timely manner
Ensuring all contracts and agreements are executed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
Maintaining comprehensive contract records and documentation, including change orders, variations
Providing support to the project management team by monitoring contract compliance and identifying potential issues or risks
Assisting with the development and implementation of contract management processes and procedures
Collaborating with the finance team to reconcile contract-related payments and invoices
Providing our Clients, Staff Members and Referrers with updates regarding finance and construction
Sending and Receiving off all Supplier and Contractor quotations - And ensuring information is correct
Organizing works around certification and approval documentation e.g arranging soil tests for slab design preparation
Document Management is critical for this role
What we're looking for
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar contracts administration role, preferably within the construction or real estate industry
Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation, and risk management principles
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and organised contract documentation
Proficient in using contract management software and Microsoft Office applications
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of the local construction industry and regulations in the Toowoomba region is highly desirable
