SoCom Consulting is a social and community services sector focussed consultancy. We service a national client base with existing demand and a strong pipeline of clients requiring our support to make applications to become Registered Aged Care Providers.

To meet this demand, we have a number of opportunities available for freelance application writers to support clients through the important application process and to help them both understand their requirements and also clearly communicate their expertise.

These are hands-on, outcomes-focussed roles, that require working closely with our clients’ senior executives and service leaders to shape compelling documentation for organisations committed to ensuring the safe and high-quality delivery of aged care services.

We assist clients to assess their readiness to proceed, draft their business plans, ensure the strength of their organisation structure and key personnel, tailor relevant policies and procedures and to draft their applications.

About You/Selection Criteria:

Must have proven success in writing and winning government grants and tenders.

Strong project coordination skills and ability to work independently.

Comfortable navigating multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.

Strategic thinker who can spot opportunities and turn ideas into action.

Must have own ABN.

Flexibility to work 20 – 30 hours per week.

Knowledge of/experience in the aged care sector (home care or residential) will be viewed very favourably.
