The Company

We are a small private company established for over 12 years with a first class reputation in our field.

We operate 2 divisions, one specializes only in the prosecution and defense of unfair dismissal claims in the Fair Work Commission (FWC) and the other division assists businesses with all aspects of IR work.

The Role

We need an additional experienced IR consultant to run claims and represent employees who have been unfairly dismissed.

All of the pre conciliation work and paperwork will be done for you.

Your diary will be managed and you will run an average of 5 claims per week, some weeks more, some maybe less, but on average 20 Conciliations per month. Each completed conciliation is billed @ 3 hours each, so budget on +/- 60 hours work a month, or $1,200 for working 15 hours a week from home!!

You will be involved in discussions with the client pre- Conciliation and then run, and settle the matter at Conciliation, you will also be needed to help complete the settlement terms and tidy up any loose ends.

The role would be ideal for an experienced IR consultant or law graduate.

The Ideal Candidate

You must be articulate and skilled at argument and persuasion.

You must have a detailed knowledge and understanding of industrial relations and the operation of The Fair Work Act 2009 (cth)

Ideally you are legally qualified.

You must have managed unfair dismissal claims in the FWC.

Ideally you to live in Melbourne but not a big deal if you don't

You can solve problems and get results!
