As our Senior Project Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery and facilitation of leadership and management development programs and other initiatives to support Queensland Health workforce capability.
What you'll do
You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of learning and development programs across Queensland Health.. You will support the design and facilitation of targeted workshops and facilitate statewide Centre for Leadership Excellence programs across Queensland Health. You will manage implementation, monitoring and reporting of performance against plans and schedules for specified workforce capability and culture projects in line with contemporary methodologies. You will prepare high quality and engaging program and project documents, resources and materials and provide advice to stakeholders and senior management on issues relating to capability program implementation.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Knowledge and experience in contemporary approaches to the design, delivery and facilitation of learning and development programs, workshops and projects.
- Ability to manage projects through all phases of the project life cycle, applying project management and change management methodologies, including budget management, procurement, contract management and reporting.
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management, including the ability to develop relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Analytical, planning and evaluation skills including the ability to effectively integrate related activities to achieve project deliverables and outcomes.
- Ability to provide advice to senior management on a range of capability development issues through the preparation of quality submissions, briefings and reports.
- Ability to deliver outcomes and manage competing work priorities to meet agreed deadlines and commitments.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to consult and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.
