What You’ll Be Doing

Profitable Tradie is looking for a senior-level Events Manager who can blend strategic thinking, creative direction, and operational execution to deliver premium event experiences — for both our clients and our internal team.

This isn’t just about booking venues. You’ll own the entire event lifecycle — from concept and content flow to supplier management and on-the-day delivery. You’ll lead a high-performing events team and collaborate across Coaching, Marketing, Ops, and Sales to create experiences that build connection, drive retention, and reinforce our brand.

You’ll:

- Design and manage the annual calendar of events aligned with business goals

- Create event concepts, themes, content flow, run sheets, and workshop experiences

- Oversee supplier sourcing, budgeting, and contract negotiation

- Coordinate logistics for both NZ-based and international events

- Lead the full event team and assign responsibilities with clarity and structure

- Manage internal stakeholder alignment — Coaching, Sales, Marketing, Exec

- Oversee live delivery of events — you are the calm in the chaos

- Conduct structured post-event reviews and budget reconciliation

- Continually refine processes, SOPs, and templates to scale operations

Who You Are

You’re an experienced event professional who thrives on end-to-end ownership. You know how to deliver high-impact experiences and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You’re creative, organised, and confident — and you love seeing the energy shift in a room because of the experience you’ve created.

You bring:

- 4–6+ years in end-to-end event management — ideally B2B or service-based

- Proven success running both intimate and large-scale live, hybrid, and virtual events

- A sharp creative mind combined with high-level logistics coordination

- Strong leadership skills — you’ve managed teams and stakeholders with confidence

- Experience with budgets, production timelines, and day-of operations

- Comfortable using tools like ClickUp, Zoom, HubSpot, and Google Suite

- Confident, calm, proactive — especially when the pressure’s on
