About the role

We're seeking a highly experienced Site Supervisor / Leading Hand to join our team at Alegra Co Pty Ltd (ALEGRA). As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on our construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This full-time role is on site, or in our office.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating and supervising a team of direct staff and subcontractors to complete tasks efficiently and to the required standards.

Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures

Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise

Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery

Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project

What we're looking for

Experience as a Site Supervisor or Leading Hand in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with a range of stakeholders

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications

Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and procedures

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
