JRM is searching for two dynamic Senior Sous/Sous Chefs ready to roll up their sleeves and lead from the front in two high-performing, evolving kitchens in South Sydney within a Respected Hospitality Group. These roles are suited to energetic chefs with serious drive, strong leadership instincts, and the hunger to step into Head Chef-level responsibility in the near future.

Whether you're eager to take charge of a kitchen undergoing a major renovation and relaunch or keen to bring energy to a buzzing local pub kitchen with a tight team - this is your moment.

The Role:

* Kitchen Leadership - Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the team during prep and service. Not an office-bound role - we want presence and passion.
* Mentorship & Training - Build capability, morale and consistency within a team that needs guidance and a lead-by-example mentality.
* Operational Support - Assist with systems, standards, and structure, especially through renovation, expansion, or rebrand transitions.
* High-Volume Service - Deliver consistently in fast-paced service environments.
* Career Progression - Clear succession path to Head Chef for the right candidate
* Venue Evolution - Opportunity to be part of a kitchen revamp, sports bar build, and event space relaunch from the ground up.

* Confident communicator who can support the Head Chef, and take the lead when needed
* Skilled trainer and able to lift the standards across the team
* Able to balance pace, people, and product under pressure

The Offer:

* $80k-$95k plus super, depending on experience
* Work/Life balance with structured rosters (5 days, mix of doubles/singles, no more than 45 hrs)
