The Role
Reporting to senior directors and working closely with the executive team, you'll lead all aspects of venue management from staff leadership and service standards to financial oversight and business development.
Key responsibilities include:
Full responsibility for day-to-day operations across restaurant and events
Leading and mentoring a cross-functional team across FOH, sales, kitchen, and events
Maintaining and refining service standards to suit both restaurant and wedding trade
Overseeing bookings and event delivery with support from the sales team
Ensuring a seamless customer journey from enquiry through to post-event feedback
Managing venue performance including cost controls, P&L, and reporting
Collaborating with marketing and sales to drive bookings and build brand presence
Ensuring compliance across WHS, licensing, and food safety regulations
Building a strong team culture and positive working environment
You
To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate a professional, hands-on approach to leadership along with a background in high-end venue, event or hospitality operations.
We're looking for:
5+ years' experience in senior venue management with a significant events element
Proven success overseeing both structured dining and premium events
A confident understanding of financial reporting, wage controls, stock, and cost of goods
Experience managing or working alongside sales and marketing functions
Excellent communication and client-facing skills, particularly in a high-touch service environment
Ability to remain composed and solutions-focused in a fast-moving, client-led business
Availability across weekends, in line with event and restaurant trade
