MAYDAY Recruitment are excited to be searching for an experienced Onboarding and Implementation Specialist based in Sydney to join a growing Australian owned and operated innovative payments and prepaid card business.
This is a newly created role and a great opportunity to use and build your skills and experience to represent the payments processing solution to clients within the education sector.

• Office based in Balmain - moving to new offices in the next few months
• Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm

Your responsibilities include:

• Manage a portfolio of existing and new school clients across NSW, ensuring strong, ongoing relationships
• Lead the onboarding process for schools from contract signing through to successful implementation
• Provide tailored training and support to school staff on using the payment solution effectively
• Conduct regular account reviews and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and growth
• Act as the main point of contact for school clients, resolving issues efficiently and professionally
• Coordinate and conduct client meetings, both face-to-face and online, as appropriate
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration and service delivery
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, implementation milestones, and usage trends
• Stay informed about sector trends and client needs to continuously add value and strengthen relationships
• Some travel within NSW may be required, though not initially

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (written, verbal)
• Good planning and time management skills
• Advanced computer and web skills - Highly efficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel as preparing high quality presentations and reports is essential
• Sales & account management experience
• Financial software acumen would be an advantage
• Experience in selling to schools / education sector, would be an advantage
• Experience in Payments, Financial Services or similar is desirable but not essential
