We are looking for a Sales Rep to act as an Onboarding Specialist, with strong phone experience and ideally from a role in the building, construction or real estate industry. The successful candidate will be required to introduce the Build Buddy platform to new users and funnel them through the onboarding process, providing value and information as needed, with strong KPIs on conversion rates and user engagement.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Onboarding Specialist to join our sales and marketing team. As the initial point of contact for most app users, you will play a crucial role in getting users started in the app, nurturing leads, conducting software demos, and scheduling meetings. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and capable of quickly building rapport with potential customers.

Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound calls to potential customers from the warm leads produced by marketing.

Communicate with leads to book and conduct software demos.

Introduce our app to prospects and effectively communicate the value proposition.

Qualify leads based on pre-determined criteria.

Schedule onboarding meetings for our Customer Experience team with qualified leads.

Maintain notes and accurate records of all interactions in the CRM software.

Follow up with leads via email and phone to nurture relationships and set follow-up appointments or tasks.

Meet your daily targets and monthly key performance indicators.

Stay informed about our products/services and industry trends/news to effectively engage with customers.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in telemarketing, sales, or appointment setting strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and confident phone demeanour.

Ability to engage prospects and build rapport quickly.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
