Paralegal – NV1 Clearance Essential – $360 to $540 daily rate including super – Initial 6 month secondment with possible extension - Canberra location

The Role

We currently have a secondment opportunity within a high profile Commonwealth Department based in Canberra that is seeking a Paralegal with experience in a Commonwealth setting.

The Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to work as a secondee within the Commonwealth clients’ in-house legal team.

The successful candidate support the legal policy team’s work including:

data entry;

record keeping;

preparing information from notifications from a public register;

notification triaging;

basic data analysis; and

assisting with the team inbox.

The Requirements

A current (minimum) NV1 security clearance experience is a requirement for this role.

A law student or experience as an administrator in a Commonwealth setting with high attention to detail is essential.
