Senior Angular and Nginx Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Canberra, ACT (Hybrid – 3 days onsite after initial 6 weeks)
Contract: 12 months + up to 24 months extension
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain NV1
Rates: $1000 - $1100 p/d inc super

Primary purpose of the role:

Support the PPC+ migration program by designing, implementing, and optimising infrastructure involving Angular, Nginx, and Node.js technologies, with a strong focus on automation, performance, and knowledge transfer.

Key accountabilities:

• Design, configure, and optimise Angular/Nginx infrastructure components for PPC+ migration
• Deploy and maintain scalable, reliable systems using Angular, Nginx, and Node.js
• Automate application migration workflows using Python scripting and GitLab CI/CD
• Provide integration and deployment support for Angular applications
• Monitor and troubleshoot post-migration performance and stability
• Collaborate with internal teams for documentation, training, and knowledge transfer
• Ensure infrastructure meets all security, compliance, and governance requirements
• Deliver work packages on time and to required quality standards

Essential requirements:

• Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, customising, and maintaining Nginx server applications
• Must be eligible for NV1 security clearance and available to work onsite in Canberra as specified

Desirable:

• Experience migrating Angular applications from Nginx servers to other platforms
