Established in 1999, this Multi Disciplinary Commercial Builder is best known for Insurance works amongst the Melbourne Market.
Over the last 5 years and due to internal growth, this builder is moving into the Commercial Industry working on $200k - $5m commercial new builds and refurbishments.
This builder is looking to double their staff head count in the next 12-18months.
Backed by their Engineering arm, this builder is extremely flexible in approach, with full autonomy provided and support from leaders in the business.

Role:
Joining this business as an Estimator, you will have the opportunity to develop further into a Senior and Estimating Manager, you will be be required to:

• Managing estimating and pricing activities.
• Coordinate multiple estimates and define areas of responsibility.
• Perform quantity take-offs and produce bills of quantities.
• Review material and labour requirements, selecting cost-effective trades.
• Approve and submit final cost estimates to clients.
• Attend tender interviews and prospect new client relationships.
• Liaise with the construction team and prepare project schedules.
• Hand over projects to the delivery team.
• Software used: Cubit, Bluebeam and MS Projects

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following:

• At least 3 years of industry experience as an Estimator in Commercial Construction
• A trade background is desirable
• Strong existing relationships with quality sub contractors in the Fit out sector and be able to bring on new relationships.
• Strong communication and negotiating skills.
• An excellent understanding of Australian building standards, codes and regulations
• A current and valid WWCC
