About the Role

Zenith Pharmacy in Parramatta, NSW, is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this part-time position, you will work closely with our Pharmacist and broader team to ensure smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations, deliver exceptional service to our customers, and help improve community health outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Customer Service & Support

Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional manner.

Answer questions about non-prescription medications and general health products (under the guidance of a pharmacist).

Process transactions accurately, following correct procedures.

Dispensing & Stock Management

Assist with preparing and dispensing prescribed medicines under the direct supervision of our Pharmacist.

Help maintain accurate records, manage inventory levels, and ensure products are properly stored and displayed.

Contribute to monthly stock takes and coordinate with suppliers as needed.

Administrative Tasks

Undertake data entry, filing, and other routine clerical duties to support pharmacy operations.

Assist in collating records for Medicare or other relevant claims (as required).

Collaboration & Positive Culture

Work as a reliable team player.

Maintain a welcoming, customer-focused environment in line with our team culture.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is preferred.

Experience in a retail/customer service role is greatly appreciated.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently assist customers.

Proficiency in pharmacy software or willingness to learn.

A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to delivering the best possible outcomes for our patients.
