PHARMACY DISPENSE TECHNICIAN OR EXPERIENCED PHARMACY ASSISTANT WANTED - 25-38 HOURS PER WEEK

My Village Pharmacy Whitebridge are looking for a motivated and task-oriented Pharmacy Dispensary Technician or Experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and dispensing medications, supporting the team, and ensuring the highest standards of customer care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service, including advising patients on product use and answering inquiries.

Support pharmacy operations, including cash handling, special ordering, and following procedures.

Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and assist in stock ordering processes.

Undertake administrative tasks including managing prescriptions and patient accounts.

Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures and safety protocols.

In addition to the key responsibilties, a dispense technician will also need to be able to:

Quickly and accurately dispense medications according to regulatory guidelines.

Ensure seamless dispensary operations for both community and aged care settings.

In addition to the key responsibilities, an experienced pharmacy assistant will also need to be able to:

Manage catalogue and storewide health or product promotions.

Undertake stocktakes and support QCPP preparation.

Success Criteria:

2 + years experience working in a pharmacy dispensary/assistant role.

Ability to be self-directed and work independently.

Ability to organise and prioritise your work duties and complete tasks.

Must be self-motivated and able to multitask.

Must be a good communicator who can work well with a diverse team.
