About the role
The Hotel and Food Services Manager at Coleraine District Health Service leads and supports the functions of the support service teams at Coleraine including food services, environmental services, cleaning, waste management and linen services. Coleraine is predominantly an aged care facility with some acute services, you and your team provide residents with daily meals, outstanding customer service and ensures that we have a clean and well-maintained facility.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Supervision: Managing and supervising the food services and environmental teams, ensuring high standards are met consistently.
Collaboration: Working closely with the WDHS Support Services Management team, the Coleraine Campus manager (Director of Nursing) and the Coleraine facilities manager to maintain the quality of all support services.
Operational Management: Ensuring the smooth running of food, hotel and environmental services at the campus.
Administrative and Hands-on Work: Balancing administrative tasks with hands-on involvement in daily operations.
This job primarily involves working Monday to Friday, but it also requires flexibility for some weekend, public holiday, and on-call work. The ideal candidate should have strong management and leadership qualities, along with experience in hospitality or health services.
