Applications are sought from suitably experienced and qualified professionals to join our team as a CSSD Manager within the Peri-Operative Services team at Echuca Regional Health.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide operational leadership to the Central Sterilisation & Supply team
Responsible for the day to day management of the CSSD department including budgeting, recruitment, performance management and training
Ensure the safe practise of decontamination, packing and sterilization processes to support the provision of safe, reliable healthcare
Develop and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with relevant standards to maintain compliance and promote excellent clinical outcomes
Perform, interpret, document and oversee mechanical, chemical and biological quality assurances practices
Work collaboratively with other Perioperative Managers and Disciplines to ensure the success of the Perioperative Service
Qualifications/experience required:
Demonstrated experience in leadership
Cert IV Sterilisation of reusable medical devices (RMD’s) and
Relevant technical experience in a setting responsible for the reprocessing of RMD’s
Desirable:
Specialist knowledge of relevant infection control and NSQHS standards
Management experience relevant to CSSD
