Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Director, Learning Management & Training to join the Learning Management & Training team in the People and Culture Directorate.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Director to spearhead the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs for our diverse team, including nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, and administrative and support staff.
This role requires a passionate leader with a proven track record in shaping effective learning initiatives that empower our workforce and enhance professional growth.
In this role, you will lead a talented team dedicated to creating high-quality training content, managing school experience and orientation programs, and ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements—including fire safety, cultural awareness, and bullying & harassment prevention.
You will collaborate closely with our hospital education teams and key stakeholders to enhance the adoption of training programs and drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes.

This role is a ongoing full time role.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Education, Psychology, Health, or related fields
- Extensive experience in designing, leading, and delivering education and training programs within healthcare settings or experience in spearheading large-scale public sector training initiatives.
- Excel in dynamic, collaborative environments, adapting seamlessly to fast-paced demands.
- Demonstrated leadership in learning management and training, driving strategic development and impactful outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and proficiency in learning management systems, ensuring effective training delivery and knowledge retention.
