We’re on the lookout for a results driven individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to get things done.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll take the reins of operational coordination at our Port Melbourne office, overseeing finance, admin, scheduling and compliance while driving performance through innovation, systems thinking and a solution focused mindset.

This role suits someone who is confident leading from the front, stays on top of competing priorities, and inspires others to work with purpose. You’ll play a key role in building scalable processes, managing multiple moving parts, and championing the smart use of technology to keep the business moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Taking the lead on budgets, reporting and financial performance, ensuring decisions are backed by data and results are delivered on time.

• Keeping the wheels turning operationally by managing admin, office systems and making sure everything is working the way it should.

• Acting as the central link between the General Manager and the wider team by driving alignment, energising communication and keeping operations moving at pace.

• Owning compliance by keeping us on track with ISO accreditation, SOPs, HR policies and OH&S standards.

• Identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, or improve how we work, and confidently leading change.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience leading business or operational functions (consulting or technical services would be ideal).

• Strong financial acumen and hands-on experience with Xero.

• Proactivity and a solution focused mindset – always looking for a better way to do things.

• Communicates clearly, connects easily with people and brings the energy.

• Loves digital tools and is keen to drive digital transformation.

Desired Skills/Experience

• Proven capability in ISO accreditation processes, internal audits and quality system maintenance.

• Experience using AI platforms or automation tools for streamlining business processes, reporting and workflows.

• Background in automotive or engineering industries is highly regarded.

• An exceptional ability to juggle competing priorities, remain organised under pressure and keep momentum high across multiple fast-moving tasks.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Quality Management or related field.

• ISO Quality Management certification or audit experience is highly regarded.

• CPA/CA preferred but not essential.
