About the role
As an Operational Services Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient delivery of laboratory services. Working under general direction, you will apply your acquired skills and knowledge to perform essential tasks such as sorting and accessioning specimens, accurate data entry, and assisting with specimen preparation, storage, and transport in accordance with established protocols.
You will also be responsible for managing internal and external customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner, ensuring a high standard of service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dedicated laboratory team, contributing to critical health outcomes in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About You
You are a dependable and detail-oriented professional preferably with experience in pathology laboratory operations. You work well under pressure, contribute positively to team environments, and are committed to delivering high-quality, customer-focused service.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience handling customer enquiries professionally.
Proficient in using computers, information systems, and databases within a laboratory context.
Knowledge of pathology laboratory operations and a proven ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately.
