Hours: Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM–2:00 PM + every second Sunday (5 hours)

About the Role

As Operations Supervisor, you’ll oversee the daily transport operations of our busy NSW depot. Reporting to the State Manager and managing a team of Transport Operators, Administrators, and a Floor Supervisor, you'll ensure schedules, resources, and compliance are running at their best.

You’ll be hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused — helping shape a culture of excellence, team pride, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the execution, direction, and coordination of depot transport operations.

Oversee scheduling, route planning, and resource allocation.

Ensure vehicle safety, legal compliance, and fleet issue resolution.

Lead, mentor, and empower your team through regular feedback and clear communication.

Analyze operational performance and proactively address issues.

Champion continuous improvement and the implementation of best practices.

Promote a strong customer-first approach in daily operations.

Identify training needs and support professional development across the team.

Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient depot environment.

About You

Proven experience in transport/logistics operations leadership.

Strong understanding of compliance, vehicle safety standards, and scheduling systems.

Exceptional people leadership and team development skills.

Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindset.

Able to work early mornings and alternate Sundays.

Strong attention to detail, safety, and operational efficiency.
