A leading manufacturer and distributor of high-performance aluminium systems for architectural and industrial applications is seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Manager. With operations spanning across multiple sites, the business has a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service within the construction industry. Role Description

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the right candidate will oversee the morning logistics operation with a focus on route management, fleet monitoring, and operational excellence. This role requires someone with strong experience in quality assurance and manufacturing, ideally within the construction or reinforcing sectors.

The ideal candidate will bring a sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and established relationships within the industry. They must be capable of taking ownership of logistics processes from day one, driving continuous improvement and ensuring seamless coordination between the warehouse, transport team, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the AM shift logistics team and manage daily truck departures (30+ tonnes per night).

Oversee and monitor fleet performance using Web Fleet, ensuring real-time route tracking and efficiency.

Manage and maintain a growing fleet (9–12 trucks), including truck maintenance and compliance checks.

Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections for drivers, ensuring adherence to safety and delivery protocols.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations and sales to deliver best-in-class customer service.

Ensure all drivers follow the established routes and maintain high standards of punctuality and professionalism.

Implement quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.

Draw on previous industry experience, particularly within the reinforcing and broader construction sectors, to optimise logistics practices.

Drive team performance, foster accountability, and support a safety-first culture.

Salay and Benefits

Base $110k - $125k | Super 11.5%
