Project Engineer – Aged Care Fit-Out | 6 Month contract

The Company
Our client is a well-respected construction company with a strong track record in delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and health sectors. They are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join the team on a contract basis to support the delivery of a high-end aged care fit-out.

The Role
As Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and driving project delivery across site operations, design, and subcontractor management. This is a fast-paced fit-out project, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys problem-solving on the go.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordination, and day-to-day site activities
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Track project progress, manage RFIs and documentation
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards
• Support procurement, cost tracking, and scheduling tasks

About You

• Proven experience working as a Project Engineer on commercial or health sector fit-outs
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Engineering
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of construction programs and site processes
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a project delivery team
