About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging Project Manager with a minimum of 3+ years of experience to contribute to some of Australia’s most unique design and construction projects. The candidate will partner with the Director, Senior Project Manager and a tight-knit team of designers, suppliers and builders to deliver projects on time, on brand and on budget. Working 3 days per week (with scope to scale up during peak periods) you will work on both residential and commercial projects from the Sydney, Stanmore office. The role will best suit a contractor, however alternative engagements can be discussed for the right candidate.

With projects spanning from Australia to Hawaii, the studio is currently looking for a talented interior designer to join the team.

The Interior Designer will be involved in managing client relationships but will not hold primary responsibility. Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule and monitor multiple projects from briefing through to hand-over
Assist in consultant, contractor and supplier coordination meetings
Prepare and track programmes, budgets, scopes and risk registers
Facilitate approvals, RFIs, variations and contract administration
Assist with procurement, logistics and on-site installations
Produce clear client communications, status reports and financial updates
Champion studio processes and mentor junior staff in project controls
Travel to metropolitan and regional sites (Central Coast & interstate) as required
Role Requirements
Essential
3+ years project management experience in interior design, architecture or construction
Proven record delivering high-value commercial and luxury residential projects
Sound knowledge of Australian construction standards, WHS and contract legislation
Exceptional organisational, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
Proficiency with project management software (e.g. MS Project, Monday.com, Smartsheet or similar) and Google Workspace
Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules and specifications
Current driver licence and own transport
Desirable
Experience with procurement platforms (e.g. Fohlio)
Formal qualification in Project Management, Construction Management or Interior Design
Familiarity with Archicad / AutoCAD file structures and BIM workflows
Exposure to international projects and time-zone coordination
