WF Industries is seeking a full-time Business Development Representative to join our team primarily in Central and Western NSW . You will be responsible for maintaining Customer relationships, winning new contracts and driving the growth of our company as we expand our business into the design, CNC processing, manufacturing and installation of steel work across a range of industries.
What you'll be doing
Identifying new business opportunities using proactive methods such as cold calling, door knocking or lead generation and using your own industry contacts.
Manage, nurture and expand on relationships with current and future customers.
Lead initiatives that generate and engage with business partners to grow new business for the company.
Deliver proposals and presentations in a variety of forums addressing key decision makers face-to-face
Help create and manage advertising documents, and digital advertising.
Lead proposals and tenders with support from management, estimators, designers and delivery teams.
Collaborate with customers, engineers and technical specialists to understand project requirements and translate them into packages for estimating or delivery.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth handover and delivery of projects
Reporting feedback to the director, maintaining call lists, lead directory
Meet agreed KPI's in both prospecting, tender submissions and sales made on a monthly basis.
What we’re looking for
Business Development experience in a steel manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Good computer skills and driving history.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in tender preparation is advantageous.
Ability to travel and stay overnight/s when required.
