We have an opportunity available in our Gold Coast Workshop for a Maintenance Co-Ordinator with a high attention to detail, good attitude, quality focused and the willingness to work as part of our team.

Working primarily with our Senior Tool Technician. A high regard for safety is essential.

Experience / Qualifications:

Manual driver’s license C class.

Forklift ticket preferred.

5+ Years experience in Overhauling downhole tools such as Jars, Energizers, Bumper Subs, Motors and Remedial Tools

Ability to safely use and operate hand and power tools.

Ability to follow a procedure

Attention to detail

Reliable, with a strong work ethic

A willingness to learn our facility specifics and succeed

Plan and delegate work scope to Technicians

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.

Have full Australian work rights

Primary Duties:

Direct and Oversee the Tool Technicians in the maintenance of downhole tools.

Ensuring that the drilling tools are prepared correctly for inspection

Overhauling of specialty drilling equipment – disassembly, washing and preparing tools

Responsible and accountable for signing off individual tool overhauls

Ensure tools are kept presentable and ready for rental

Perform routine service checks on company equipment

Run Pre-Shift meetings and safety moments and keep records of such

Loading and unloading trucks, preparing paperwork as required

Weekly / Monthly Audits and reporting as requested

General yard and workshop duties including cleaning/housekeeping/computer and administrative duties to maintain high levels of health and safety
