Duty Manager (Functions & Events) - Part Time
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated hospitality professional with a passion for Functions and Events.

This varied and unique role offers a chance to seamlessly transition between administrative, marketing and creative tasks and orchestrating our events and functions. It presents an opportunity for growth and personalisation, potentially evolving into a full-time Function and Events role.

In this pivotal position, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' experiences.
Your days will bring variety, from being the first point of call to customers and potential clients to supporting upper management and team leaders across the venue. Responsibilities will encompass a mix of shifts, covering days, evenings and weekends, and will include:

Functions, Bookings & Events

Assisting with online and phone bookings and coordination of special event days.

Looking after group bookings, functions and private dining events, liaising with clients to create tailored events with flair, and ensuring they are executed on the day.

Liaising with management and kitchen to ensure smooth operation of events.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints.

Administration

Maintenance of Function Log and Run Sheets in conjunction with Venue Manager.

Light to medium graphic design work, working within the corporate identity and branding (familiarity with Adobe suite is a plus).

Management of office supplies, in-venue promotional materials.

Internal and external communications, including events round-up to venue management, weekly engagement with Bridge Members, special event EDMs to 4,000+ customer database

Social Media

Collaborate with the Venue Manager in developing and delivering content.

Develop and manage a social media calendar and marketing roll-out plan for special events/days.

Respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments in line with venue identity and branding.

You will have:

Hospitality experience (minimum 3 years non-negotiable).

Events and marketing back-ground/ experience preferred.

Knowledge of OpenTable and Ordermate is preferred (not a deal-breaker).

Proactive approach to work and comfortability working independently.

A positive can-do attitude and must have a love of people and genuine care for providing every customer with the best possible experience.

Excellent communication skills.

Problem-solving skills, be resourceful and always maintain your composure.
