About Us:
The Third Day is a well-known live music and events venue in North Melbourne, offering a unique industrial space that’s perfect for music gigs, brand activations, private parties and corporate events. With a Music Event Manager and Bar Manager already in place, we’re now looking for a skilled Corporate Event Manager to expand our non-music event offering and deliver unforgettable experiences for clients.

The Role:
We’re seeking a confident, experienced Corporate Event Manager to take charge of all corporate and private event enquiries. You’ll work alongside our existing team to manage client communications, conduct venue walkthroughs, develop competitive proposals, and coordinate event execution. You’ll be the go-to person for clients looking to host functions outside our core music programming.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to event enquiries via email and phone

Meet with clients and conduct site inspections

Create tailored proposals and competitive event packages

Liaise with food catering suppliers, furniture hire companies, and other vendors

Manage bookings and event timelines

Work closely with venue management to ensure seamless handover and delivery

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in event management (corporate/private)

Proven experience coordinating with catering and furniture suppliers

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills

A strong client-focused approach and attention to detail

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Hospitality background or venue experience is an advantage
